Very Sheltered Almshouses
Privacy, security and daily support
We manage two ‘Very Sheltered’ schemes (Steve Biddle House, Hudson Road, and Robert Stokes Almshouse, Carmelite Way), where the flats are specially adapted for wheelchair access.
Although Residents are still independent and retain their privacy with their own front door, Wardens are on site to help and support 24/7 and a lunchtime meal is prepared and cooked on the premises.
